  I had Gordy do a septic inspection on a house, and the process was terrible.
  He missed 2-3 dates that he had committed to and ended up being a week late completing the work. Communication was very poor, rarely returning phone calls or letting us know of schedule changes etc. He did the work without telling me when he was going to come (which means I wasn't present when the work was done). He also charged me for a "survey" that was never completed or provided. Lastly, he left the yard in quite a mess after the inspection.
  
  He also never responded to the polite letter I enclosed with my payment to address any of the issues.
  
  I had heard good things about him from others, so I was very surprised at the level of service I received, so maybe this was an isolated incident, but unfortunately it was the incident I experienced.
